Assoc. Professor of Biology Emily Wiley
Associate Professor of Biology Emily Wiley has been awarded a research grant for $49K through the National Science Foundation. In collaboration with Dr. Robert Coyne of the J. Craig Venter Institute and others, Dr. Wiley will work develop bioinformatics modules and instructor guides in support of a project titled "Genomics of Tetrahymena." The Tetrahymena is a frequently studied, ciliated protozan that lives in ponds.
