Associate Professor of Biology Melissa Coleman has been asked be a discussion leader at a prestigious Gordon Research Conference in the area of neuroscience. The meeting, called Neuroethology: Behavior, Evolution & Neurobiology, is scheduled for August 2013 in Vermont.. Dr. Coleman is an expert in neuroethology, the neural basis of animal behavior and a portion of her research focuses on the neural basis of a cooperative behavior in a duetting wren. Gordon conferences bring together international teams of scientists to discuss and present frontier research in the sciences.
