Student Resources

"I thrive in a flexible environment and am pursuing a double major."

I visited each of the consortium schools and at one of the visits I heard a professor talking about AISS. It sounded interesting so I applied for it and got in. It was a great experience for me because I wasn’t sure what field I wanted to get into but it made use of my strong math background. It was intense but to this day, a lot of my closest friends are from that class.

I thrive in a flexible environment and am pursuing a double major: Physics (through JSD) and Media Engineering (at Pitzer). But I really identify as a “7 C’s” student because I benefit from the resources of all the schools. I was able to take part in the Summer Undergraduate Research Program at Keck Graduate Institute of Applied Life Sciences and am currently working on my thesis – with one JSD advisor and one KGI advisor – which explores physics applications in game theory.
