Dr. Christy Brigham is the Chief of Planning, Science and Resource Management at Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area, our nation's largest urban national park. She will discuss the goals of the park's science program and present results from her work studying invasive plants and ecological restoration techniques. In addition she will present the park's efforts to engage the public as well as understand the impacts of urbanization and fragmentation on park resources.
